Workshop and first Jordanian - Austrian committee session (environmental technology)

In 2008 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Environment Ministry of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management.

 
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding a close bilateral cooperation in the fields of environmental technologies, climate change, energy efficiency and renewable energies, sustainable waste management and treatment as well as the establishment of a Joint Jordanian-Austrian Committee on Environment was agreed. The first committee session in environmental technology took place at 1 November 2010 around the “ICEMT 2010 - International Conference on Environmental Management & Technologies. In the framework of the ICEMT 2010 Austria has organized a workshop.
